"As the father of two daughters, I am well aware of the challenges facing girls in today's society. In my opinion, these challenges pale in comparison to those faced by girls in some less developed countries. I therefore felt that it was important to attempt to provide some form of assistance which ultimately led me to the 60 million girls Foundation."

The advancement of developing countries depends first and foremost on women because it is through women that change will occur. The women that I have so often met with know to what extent it is important for their daughters to have the appropriate tools to actively participate in this change. Together and through them we will have the means to ensure that equality on this planet isn’t only reserved for the rich countries. Knowledge and skills are the basis for this balance and your contribution to 60 million girls adds one more grain to the scale.

Chantal Carrier

"I was already involved with two organizations which have for objective to educate children in developing countries. Joining 60 million girls was thus quite easy, especially since the foundation is aimed specifically at educating girls, a cause that is close to my heart as a woman and mother of a girl. I sincerely believe that education is key to breaking the poverty cycle for these children."

We cannot afford NOT to help the millions of girls who are deprived of basic education. Our children and grandchildren will benefit if we assist in improving some of the lives of the 60 million girls in developing countries who are not in elementary school every year. Our young foundation with its small group of dynamic, intelligent women (and men) are helping lead this battle in our community. Working with strategic partners, a selected project benefits each year. We invite you to join our foundation to help successfully achieve these important goals which greatly merit our support.

Denis Blain

"Think of these words: Children are the eyes of the future! Can you think of a better reason than that to support the 60 million girls Foundation? This is likely why you will join me, to help young girls who will become mothers who will, in turn, transfer their knowledge to others. This challenge that we have undertaken will leave the next generations with an invaluable heritage for these citizens of the world who asks but for a chance to flourish.

Thank you for your support."

It seems so straight forward - education is the way out of poverty and into self-sufficiency and human growth; women provide the foundation and stability of communities and families; and of course girls are tomorrow's women! Knowing that we can help open up the human potential that basic education provides and that it can never be taken away - that’s what I find very motivating.
