Who we are 60 million girls is a public foundation established in February 2006 by Wanda Bedard and a group of talented, creative and energetic women who believe strongly in the need to support education for girls in order to create a more just and balanced world. Our objective is to support at least one major education project annually in developing countries with the greatest gender disparity in school enrolment by raising funds through our Foundation. We all give of our time freely as volunteers for this passion of ours. There is no paid staff and we have gratefully benefited from free services and support from many professionals and companies, keeping our administration costs at an absolute minimum. We aim to send every penny possible to the projects we fund. In fact, 99% of the funds we receive are donated directly to the projects we support. We come from different walks of life, different professions and careers and are of every age group. We share a very strong commitment to shaping the world as we can, by supporting the empowerment of girls and women and boys and men through education. Women and men, teenagers and children, we all have our part to play. If this is what you wish to support as well, let us know. We know that our every action will have an impact. Join us to create positive change in the world! To make a donation or if you have any questions, please Contact us!
